Message from Our Founder Father Flavian Mucci

Dear Friends from Cyberspace,

 Greetings from El Salvador, the Central American country where I came to work as a Franciscan missionary more than 40 years ago. Born in Boston, Massachusetts in the United States, the Lord brought me here where He called me to start what we now call the Agape Association of El Salvador. 

 Through this website, you will get to know us and what we do.  You will become familiar with a work of love devoted to helping thousands of Salvadorans in the areas of Health, Housing, Education, Value Formation, Child and Youth drug and gang prevention. You will also find out about our Alphabetization program, our Professional Formation Center, our Media and Evangelization efforts, and much more!

 The internet, this wonderful technological means, enables us to share our mission with the whole world. It gives us the opportunity to make known what we are capable of accomplishing for our neighbors when we combine the three essential elements of AGAPE:

• the work ethic of each of more than 1,000 employees,
• the high quality service we provide to our beneficiaries and to our clients who select our productive programs (fund-raising programs which help us finance part of our social programs)
  
• National and International credibility, an essential component for our growth. We have earned the credibility of many who have supported us through the years, thus enabling us to extend our programs to 13 out of the 14 provinces of El Salvador.
